Learn how to Get into Side Crow (Parsva Bakasana) with Audrey Sutton. This is a great yoga video for beginners. There are a number of ways to get into side crow: from Chair pose twist or Malasana (yogi squat). Make sure your hips are open and they are high so that you can perch your things on your triceps. Start with both triceps and as you are comfortable balancing strength and ease, move to rest thigh on just front tricep. Hug your elbows in so there is a strong foundation. Lift your hips, and most importantly engage your bandhas (pelvic floor and core pull in and up). Reach your heart forward, flair toes, continue to draw core in and up….and most importantly breathe. Have fun!
