Look at this sweet face! Don’t you just wanna squeeze those cheeks?

I love this girl and she is the BEST baby during the day, but (like her mom) has major FOMO and because of lack of sleep and exhaustion she becomes a gremlin at night (I say that with the utmost love).

She’s a social butterfly, giggling and enjoying life and doesn’t want to leave the party. While fun during the day, this creates havoc for us at night. Hence the dark circles and bags under my eyes.

As a mom, I feel the tug of #comparison all around me: COMPARING my baby’s progress to others, JUDGING how I am as a mom and WORRYING if I’m doing things “right,” feeling judged by other moms, and sometimes even judging those moms too (not something I’m proud to admit).

Judgement keeps us separate from each other and from ourselves.

It’s not just motherhood tho – it’s EVERY aspect of our life that our #ego wants to compare and judge.

Whether it’s in your career and business life, your role as a partner or parent, or just plain being HUMAN, our #ego COMPARES + COMPETES + JUDGES.

The #ittybittyshittycommittee can shout so loud dragging you down into a scarcity mindset that you’re not enough and you’re not doing enough.

Comparison shows up when you’re not being present to the good that’s in front of you.

It’s only through mindfulness of your inner critIc that you return to your truth.

That “voice” doesn’t matter.

It’s just chatter keeping you stuck in a loop that’s not good for you.

Forget comparison and start celebrating!

. . . all that is working in your life .
. . . all that is good.
. . . all that you are!!

Hope this was the reminder you needed today!

p.s. I’m in the works of planning a SELF LOVE 2-day retreat on a lake in Washington in October/November if you want to join me – STAY TUNED!
